1 PURPOSE
The purpose of this document is to guide the system’s installer with the steps necessary to install and configure the Universal Devices’ ISY system and operate the GUI (Graphical User Interface) ISY comes configured for communications with the device(s) of your choice. The package contains:
- Power supply
- Ethernet cable (Blue Cable)
- A Serial/RS232 cable – for advanced administrative tasks. If you would like to view system status using Windows Hyper-terminal or any other terminal emulation software
- Documentation and Utilities disk
- Quick Setup Guide
- SmartHome’s INSTEON PLM (Power-line Modem) version 4A
