Put the Java Icon Back

To put the Java icon back in your System Tray:

1. Go to Control Panel --> Java
2. Choose the Advanced Tab
3. Expand Miscellaneous which is the last item on the list
4. Check 'Place Java icon in system tray'

Get the Console Without the Icon

Or, if you want the console to be always on or off

1. Go to Control Panel --> Java
2. Choose the Advanced Tab
3. Expand the Java console which is the second item on the list
4. Choose your desired behavior
